I have read two previous novels by Dave Eggers and they are amazing reads. He has a knack for writing interesting stories that draw you in and really play with the idea of narrative structure. I have not read Zeitoun, but I can imagine that it would be a great read. He is also an author that is commonly read in contemporary fiction classes at the college level. I think his book would make for a great community read and create lively discussions.
