Seth Grahame-Smith is a busy man. According to Widipedia:

Seth Grahame-Smith is an American best-selling author, screenwriter, and producer of film and television. He is best known as the author of The New York Times best-selling novels Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter; the latter of which has been adapted as a feature film.

The AllAmerican Speakers website provides some more information:

Seth Grahame-Smith is a best-selling author, screenwriter, infrequent political blogger and producer of film and television.

He grew up in Weston and Bethel, Connecticut, and received a degree in film from Boston’s Emerson College. In 2005, he quit a TV development job to become a freelance writer – and for a few years that seemed like a very, very bad decision.

Published in 2009 his first novel, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, debuted at #3 on the New York Times bestseller list. Since its release, “PPZ” has sold over a million copies and been translated into more than 20 languages. Lionsgate is currently preparing a film adaption starring Natalie Portman and directed by David O. Russell.

Seth’s follow up book, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, debuted at #4, and remained on the New York Times Bestseller list over three months.
