New Events–Asolo Play Readers and USF Salon

Two new One Book events have been added to the calendar.

On Dec. 1 at 7:00 p.m. the Asolo Play Readers will be reading “The High School,” from “The World of Sholom Aleichem” at the The Jane B. Cook Theatre, FSU Center for the Performing Arts, 5555 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.

Then, readers of all ages are invited to “An Afternoon Salon: Engaging The Book Thief” on February 8, 2011, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., in the Selby Auditorium on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus, 8350 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34243. This event is free to the entire community. The College of Arts and Sciences and the Institute for Public Policy and Leadership are collaborating to host this interactive exploration of a book that has garnered world-wide acclaim.
